Write a short note on Human Rights Committee

Short Note Human Rights Committee: Human Rights Committee is there for the enforcement of Human Rights listed in the Conventional on Civil and Political Rights. The term of the Committee is four years and it has 18 members. Member nations have an obligation to submit reports on the measures taken to give effect to Civil and Political Rights. A Conciliation Commission may be appointed if the matter which has been referred to the Committee is not resolved to -the satisfaction of both the parties. It is the duty of the member nations to extend all facilities to the Commission.

Human rights refer to freedoms and rights which should be available to all human beings irrespective of their caste, class, gender, and religion. These rights include the right to life, the right to freedom of speech and expression, the right to equality, the right to education, etc. Read more

The High Courts and Subordinate Courts

The Constitution of India has provided for a High Court for each state. However, there may be one High Court for two states or union territories.
