Labrador Current

Labrador Current flows from the Arctic Ocean and meets the warm Gulf Stream in the southeast coast of Newfoundland.

In early summers, this current transports icebergs from the glaciers of Greenland to the Trans-Atlantic shipping lanes.

It has a cooling effect on the Canadian Atlantic provinces.
