When was the ‘Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ adopted?

The United Nations Commission on Human Rights prepared a draft on the general principles governing human rights as a common standard of achievement for all people and nations. This declaration is known as the ‘Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ the first of its kind was adopted by the General Assembly on 10th December, 1948.
