Power to issue Orders or Writs: All the High Courts have the power to issue Writs to a person or an official. The Writs comprise the writs of Habeas Corpus, Mandamus, Prohibition, Quo Warranto, and Certiorari. These Writs are issued to protect the Fundamental Rights or for any other purpose.
